Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship of Canada (IRCC) issued invitations to sponsor parents and grandparents for 2021 intake during the period of two weeks from September 23, 2021, to October 7, 2021. Sponsors were selected from the 2020 intake pool who submitted their interest forms for the parents and grandparents program 2020.
Deadline to submit Parents and Grandparents PR application 2021
Sponsors who received invitations have 60 days to submit complete PR applications. IRCC must receive these applications on or before December 6, 2021. Applications must be submitted through IRCC’s new Permanent Residence Portal.
