The Canadian government has been establishing effective actions to prevent the transmission of COVID 19. On November 26, 2020, IRCC has introduced a new policy for attempting citizenship tests. From now on, citizenship test takers have to attempt the exam online.
Applicants will receive exam instructions at their email; therefore, they do not need to contact IRCC directly. Applicants will have the choice to either attempt tests online or wait until the in-person tests start again.
The objective of this program is to improve client service delivery and also, prevent the spread of COVID 19 by reducing gatherings of people at IRCC offices.
